Frankelin Franco-Colome, 29, of Harrisburg, was charged with homicide in the January 27th death of Jorge Morales, 61, in Swatara Township. Police investigating an abandoned vehicle complaint found Morales dead on the passenger side of his car at about 9:43 a.m. at Paxtang Cemetery, on the 400 block of North Paxtang Avenue, according to court documents. His death was ruled a homicide during an autopsy two days later. Detectives also found Morales’ blood-soaked steering wheel cover in a trash can at Mama’s Pizza on the 3400 block of Derry Street, according to the affidavit. Court documents said the steering wheel cover was seen on surveillance cameras in Morales’ car before the stabbing.
While executing a search warrant at Bellevue Towers on Monday, police said they found court documents with Franco-Colome’s name on it, as well as an ID badge with his name.
