Harrisburg Fire held its annual awards ceremony and official swearing-in Tuesday at Fire Station One.Deputy Fire Chief Glenn Sattizahn began the ceremony with opening remarks:

It's most important that we recognize the family and our firefighters. They are the heartbeat of Harrisburg Bureau of Fire; they are the ones who are out on a daily basis making this fire department tick. The department honored over 90 Harrisburg Firefighters while welcoming four new ones. The additional recruits were sworn-in by mayor Wanda Williams.
