The latest presidential poll shows just how close the race between Democrat Kamala Harris and Republican Donald Trump has become.
Published: Oct. 07, 2024, 7:45 a.m.shows Vice President Harris and former President Trump tied at 49% each. This is the first time the candidates have been tied since numbers from mid-August, pollster said.
Harris maintains her lead among women and is ahead by 30 points among voters with post-graduate degrees. She leads among voters 18-44 while she and Trump are tied at 48% each among voters 45-54. Trump leads among all voters ages 55 and older.
