The two candidates are also tied at 49 percent of support each among voters in counties where the Biden-Trump 2020 margin was less than 10 points.
While the poll also found that Trump has a 2-point lead over Harris nationally, the race will be determined by the battleground states. The Electoral College is determined at the state level, where Harris and Trump have been vying to gain support in recent weeks.The latest poll also found that voters trust Trump more on the issues of immigration, the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East and the economy. However, voters trusted Harris more on abortion, climate change and health care.
The poll was taken Oct. 11-14 among 1,110 registered voters and has a margin of error of plus or minus three points. Trump’s lead nationally falls within the margin of error. The previous Fox News poll, taken in September, found Harris with a 2-point lead nationally.
