Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo to attend Bidens' first state dinner at White House

“I couldn’t be more honored to be a part of President Biden’s first state dinner," Hidalgo said in a statement issued by her office Thursday."I am equally as proud to represent Harris County, one of the most dynamic and diverse regions in our nation, at the White House and to meet one of our closest allies.
The dinner, served on the South Lawn, will feature American cheeses for the cheese course, butter poached Maine lobster and beef with shallot marmalade, according to White House officials. Hidalgo, who was re-elected to a second term last month, has attended events at the White House in the past, including a roundtable discussion on abortion rights.
