Officials said they were called out to a parking lot of a grocery store in the 1400 block of West FM 1960.SUGGESTED: Woman shot in the chest in Pasadena, alleged shooter surrendered to policeAuthorities said it all started as an aggravated robbery call just after 2 p.m. However, officials later stated there was no proof of a robbery as no items were taken.
However, officials said the suspect walked up to the victim, who is said to be a disabled vet. They had a few words, but didn't appear to be confrontational. That's when, officials said, the suspect struck the victim who fell to the ground. The victim was airlifted from Houston Northwest to Kingwood Hospital in critical condition.Witnesses told authorities that both men are frequent visitors to the store.
