Harris County Pets reported being hundreds of animals past capacity, adoptions free

While it makes for challenging conditions at the shelter, it also meant, as of Wednesday, there were 758 potential new furry friends at Harris County Pets waiting for a home. And to help free up space, Harris County Pets also was offering free adoptions for anyone who would like to take an animal home. The Harris County Pets Resource Center offers adoption, foster and volunteer opportunities.
