From follows a group of people who have become trapped in a mysterious town that is taken over by murderous creatures every evening. It was believed that there was no way to escape, but at the end of season 2, one of the residents seems to have found a way to return home. From season 3 will explore the meaning of this more deeply, as well as showcase the townspeople who were left behind as they go on offense against the horrors they are forced to live with.
2 Screen Rant interviewed Harold Perrineau, who teases more devastation for Boyd Stevens in From season 3. He discusses the monsters, how they evolve this season, and what makes them so terrifying. Harold also confesses how he thinks he would handle being in a town like this, and if he would step into a leadership role like Boyd does.
The Colony and Town Work Together Out Of Necessity In From Season 3 "Once that family showed up, everything went out the window." Screen Rant: In season 1, the colony and the town were very separate, but now you are working closely together. Can you talk about how this relationship has evolved? Harold Perrineau Teases A New Rift Between Ellis & Boyd In From Season 3 "It was really nice while it lasted," he reminisces glumly. Screen Rant: Boyd is getting his relationship with his son Ellis back. How has it been to explore that?
Harold Perrineau: I think that the thing that's underlying, and that we may have only mentioned it once, is that they don't run, they don't chase you, because they don't have to, right? You're going to lose. That's the underlying rule. That's what it feels like. And so you would think, because people keep saying, why don't they kill Boyd? He's clearly dangerous. It's like, because they don't have to.
We did it in the winter this year, and it's freezing. So they're shivering. We try to have as much fun as we can because otherwise it would just be really, really miserable. The night stuff that you see in episode one, you have no idea how cold, like I'm from New York, it is crazy how cold it was. It was crazy.
