Like many comics from the Golden Age, Harley's thoughts are expressed via thought bubbles. Initially, the bubbles are just Harley's negative thoughts given physical form. However, the longer she stays in the dream, the darker and more intrusive the thought bubbles become. Harley tries running away from the clouds, but they get louder and more negative, broadcasting Harley's biggest anxieties to the world.
