Harga sayur naik, pembekal kena Covid-19

Gangguan bekalan itu berlaku selepas Putrajaya mengenakan kawalan harga bagi beberapa sayuran terpilih dari 15 hingga 18 April. Beliau berkata jangkitan itu menyebabkan separuh daripada 216 ahli persatuan dikenakan kuarantin atau operasi digantung kerana bimbang dijangkiti virus itu.Penularan wabak itu dalam kalangan peniaga menyebabkan pengurangan bekalan sayuran segak ke pasar raya dan kedai runcit, menyebabkan kenaikan harga di seluruh negara, kata Chong.“Situasi koronavirus di seluruh negara nampak lebih baik dengan lebih ramai pesakit pulih.
Beliau berkata kebun masih menghasilkan sayuran, tetapi tidak semua hasil dituai akan sampai kepada peniaga dan pengguna kerana orang tengah dalam rantaian bekalan itu dijangkiti virus.
