Juwai IQI meramalkan harga hartanah kediaman akan kekal pada 2020 dengan kenaikan hanya 1.1%.
Pengarah eksekutif kumpulan, Kashif Ansari berkata penurunan jumlah transaksi hartanah akibat perintah kawalan pergerakan turut menyebabkan harga hartanah terhenti. Katanya, moratorium 6 bulan Bank Negara ke atas kadar faedah dan bayaran pokok pinjaman melegakan pemilik hartanah dan mengurangkan tekanan terhadap pasaran hartanah.
“Tetapi 2 tahun kemudian, ejen lebih yakin dengan kadar sewa. Di seluruh negara, ejen menjangkakan kadar sewa meningkat 7.1% menjelang Januari 2022.”
