Adam Sandler will reprise his role as the titular character in the upcoming sequel, while further plot details remain under wraps at this time.“I saw Adam about two weeks ago, and he says to me, ‘McDonald, you’re gonna love this.’ I said, ‘What?’ He says, ’How ‘bout that,’ he shows me the first draft of Happy Gilmore 2,” the actor said when appearing on.
“All Happy Gilmore has ever wanted is to be a professional hockey player. But he soon discovers he may actually have a talent for playing an entirely different sport: golf. When his grandmother learns she is about to lose her home, Happy joins a golf tournament to try and win enough money to buy it for her,” the synopsis for the movie reads.
