The California Department of Fish and Wildlife originally blamed the bulbous black bear for 33 instances of extensive property damage, forced break-ins of at least 28 homes and more than 150 reports of conflict. But new DNA evidence examined by the state wildlife department shows Hank isn’t the only suspect after all.
