It’s playoff football. We’ll embrace it and we’re proud to be at home next week because we’ve earned that right.”“It’s a stingy group, a gritty group that’s come so far in a short period of time,” praised Sargeant. “Lots of new starters out there but they’ve embraced their roles, embraced their jobs.
“What they’ve been doing all year is what they were doing today,” said Sargeant. “They’re just on board. They’re a special group. That’s why we make sure we kick the ball off, to get them on the field and let them set the tone and they certainly did that today. Then the offence got their feet under them and we’re just flowing and going and everyone’s feeling good. The plays were the plays and the players made the plays today. It was fun to watch.
