Hamas is denying Israel's accusation that it was behind a rocket strike north of Tel Aviv that wounded seven Israelis
A rocket hit a house in a community north of Tel Aviv and caused it to catch fire on Monday, wounding seven Israelis, police and medics said. March 25, 2019.
"No one from the resistance movements, including Hamas, has an interest in firing rockets from the Gaza Strip towards the enemy," the official toldon condition of anonymity, evoking the possibility that it may have been caused by "bad weather." Israel's army said the rocket was fired by Hamas, the movement that runs the Gaza Strip, from the Rafah area in the south of the enclave.
