'Truly the best and most concise songwriting that has ever come out of me.” - halsey on the new songs from her upcoming album.

’s never been one to stick to the same hair for too long. Whether she was donning elaborate wigs or cutting and dying her hair on a near-constant basis, the star has always made it a habit to change up her look on a regular basis.

On Wednesday night , the singer revealed her latest hair evolution on social media. Halsey posted two photos of herself, showing off her new set of rainbow-colored bangs, each fading into one another with a nice ombré. She captioned the photos with a series of emojis, corresponding to the new colors in her hair.

The photos came after a series of tweets on Wednesday when she teased what was in store for her new album. Halsey talked about the songs on her upcoming third studio album, saying “they are all so different. Truly the best and most concise songwriting that has ever come out of me.” She went as far as to say that one of her favorites off of the upcoming record had “a hint of bubblegum,” as she promised fans that they would be surprised by her new sound. “Whatever you’re expecting it to be, it’s not gonna be that. No matter how smart / on-to-me you think u are.”
