In probably one of the most shocking opening scenes of any movie, audiences are introduced to a six-year-old Michael Myers, who brutally stabs his sister on Halloween night of 1963. Exactly 15 years later, on October 30, 1978, while Myers is being carried to the court from Smith’s Grove mental health center, he escapes and returns to his hometown of Haddonfield and goes on a killing spree specifically pinning his target on a high school babysitter, Laurie Strode.
