“Cuz he asked me and I said NO that’s why,” Berry’s comment read . “Why ask if you intend to do what you want to do ! That was the f*** you to me. Not cool You get it?” Another reply from Berry clarifies the statement, saying that Drake’s team did reach out about the photo and she refused their request. According to the actress, Drake decided to use it anyway, a move that Berry deems as disrespectful and “not cool.”
“He did have his people call my people call my people and I said NO,” Berry wrote in the replies to her post. “I didn’t like that image of slime all over my face in association with his song. And he chose to do it anyway! You see…that is the disrespect. Not cool!”
