Halle Berry joins Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, and Barry Keoghan in the cast of Bart Layton's new thriller movie Crime 101.
Crime 101 is a new Amazon MGM Studios movie that is an adaptation of a Don Winslow short story that was published in 2021. It is directed byBerry was recently seen in Netflix’s The Union, an action movie that co-stars Mark Wahlberg, Jackie Earle Haley, and J. K. Simmons. Her latest movie, Never Let Go, is also currently playing in United States theaters. Directed by Crawl’s Alexandre Aja, Never Let Go also features performances from Percy Daggs IV and Anthony B. Jenkins.
Layton is known for directing 2012’s The Imposter and 2018’s American Animals. He is producing the movie alongside Story Factory’s Shane Salerno, Working Title’s Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan, RAW’s Dimitri Doganis, Derrin Schlesinger, Hemsworth, and Ben Grayson. RAW’s Joely Fether serves as an executive producer.
Production on Crime 101 is expected to begin this month.
