Across the world, Muslims like Aden are currently fasting from dawn until dusk. After a meal at dawn, Suhur, the model will not eat again until she breaks her fast with the traditional sunset meal known as Iftar. “During high school, it wasn’t uncommon to see a diverse group of kids at my house enjoying the sunset feasts,” says Aden. “They were both excited and open-minded to partake in this important holiday meal.
