Thousands of runners are expected to race through Chicago's West Side. The 13-mile course will start at 7 a.m. and finish in Garfield Park. It will travel through Douglass and Humboldt parks. No parking zones along the course will be enforced beginning at 1 a.m. on Sunday.
Street closures along the route will occur between 5:30 and 11 a.m. As runners pass points along the route, streets will reopen to allow traffic to return to normal as quickly as possible, according to Chicago's Office of Emergency Management and Communications. The street closures are as follows:- Music Court Drive: Hamlin Boulevard to Woodward Drive6 a.m. Saturday until 5 p.m. Sunday- McCrea Drive: Schraeder Drive to end.
- Madison: Central Park to St. Louis Avenue- Congress Parkway: Independence Boulevard to Central Park- Sacramento: Avenue to Roosevelt Road- Farrar Drive: Ogden to Sacramento- Washington: Schraeder Drive to Hamlin- Conservatory Drive: Lake to Franklin- Humboldt Drive: Augusta Boulevard to North Avenue- Luis Munoz Marin Drive" Humboldt Drive to Humboldt Drive
