The driver fled from police before he was seen mounting pavements and running red lights
Dramatic helicopter footage shows the moment an off-road biker was chased through Wigan by police before being arrested.
After seeing the police, the driver sped off in a bid to evade them, mounting pavements, running red lights and driving the wrong way down main roads.Helicopter footage released by GMP shows NPAS following the bike through the area, before it was tracked to an address on Elliot Street. The bike and rider were located at the address.
Sergeant Dan Canavan from our Wigan district said: “We have made a commitment to the people of Greater Manchester that we will be dealing with anyone who causes any form of anti-social behaviour while riding motorbikes, e-bikes and quadbikes.
