Two mothers are being charged with disorderly conduct after a fight in the stands at a pee wee football game.

Amber Spaur, 33, and Kayla Card, 35, were the parents both involved in the physical altercation, police said. “I think parents just get way too involved and they focus way too much on what’s happening in the game instead of letting the kids be kids,” said Amanda Budzyna, of North Providence. “I’m not really shocked.”

On Wednesday morning, the North Providence Police Department announced that both Card and Spaur had been arrested for disorderly conduct for their role in a Sunday fight at the youth football game. “If we’re acting like idiots, our kids are going to act like idiots,” said Michael Pereria, of North Providence. “Relax, take a deep breath, it’s a game.”Since the incident, Card has taken to Facebook, arguing her child was one of multiple being aggressively hit from behind by another teammate.spoke with Card on the phone. She said she had “no comment” but noted the other mother, Spaur, who she allegedly got into an altercation with, is the coach’s wife.
