Hadi: I didn't join cabinet to act as oversight on PAS ministers

PAS leader says this will be more effective to keep the gov't, ministers and deputy ministers in check.

PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang today explained that he didn't join the new cabinet so that he can act as an oversight on PAS ministers and deputy ministers in the government.

"We sent representatives to become ministers and deputy ministers, who will carry out their executive roles and prove their capability in governance, while the party oversees them. "As a party president who is not appointed as a cabinet minister, it is more effective in keeping the government, ministers and deputy ministers in check," Hadi (
