After nearly a year-and-a-half-long wait, Supergiant Games is finally dropping the full release of Hades 2 in just a few days. Arriving with all the content added to Hades 2 since its initial playtest alongside some unknown additions, there's still plenty to look forward to regardless of its you've already played its early access version.
Even though Hades 2 was advertised as a day-one launch exclusive for Nintendo Switch 2, it will be released on Switch, Switch 2, and PC through Steam and Epic Games simultaneously. Arriving as a digital-only download on September 25/26, you won't have to wait long to experience everything the full release of Hades 2 has to discover when it finally arrives in your region. Hades 2 Launch Times By Region All Times & Dates Explained As detailed on the official Supergiant Games X account, Hades 2 will be released simultaneously across all regions at 4 PM , regardless of what system you decide to play on. Unfortunately, there has been no mention so far of an Xbox Series S|X or PlayStation 5 release, likely requiring another year-long wait if Hades 2 follows the same schedule as its predecessor. You also won't be able to get a hold of a physical copy of Supergiant's latest roguelite just yet, as the 1.0 release is solely for the finished digital version of Hades 2. If you're willing to wait just a little longer, Hades 2 will receive a physical edition for the Switch and Switch 2 versions later this year, on November 20. With hours of new story content, characters to meet, weapons to wield, and countless other gameplay enhancements, it seems the long wait for the full release of Hades 2 will be more than worth it. If you've played Hades 2 in early access already, you'll be able to transfer your save file into the 1.0 release as well, allowing you to jump right into the new content without waiting.
