The second location in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex will open in Plano on Nov. 2, according to H-E-B.The San Antonio-based grocery chain announced Monday that its new Plano location will officially open at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2. In late September, the chainin the area of Frisco, where 1,500 shoppers lined up for up to 12 hours in advance of the opening. By 6 a.m., people were in a line that stretched around the 118,000-square-foot store.
According to an Oct. 16 tweet, lines around the Frisco location remain long, about a month after opening. The Plano location will feature a full-service pharmacy with a drive-thru, a fuel station, a car wash, and a True Texas BBQ restaurant with its own drive-thru. The location also comes with standard features like a bakery, a deli, a meat market, a produce section, a floral department and a wine and beer department.
