H-E-B and Spurs are Texas icons, Texas Monthly says. San Antonio already knew that.
In a statement announcing the sponsorship, GameSquare CEO Justin Kenna touted his company’s ability to help brands like H-E-B “connect with gaming and esports fans.” It recently partnered with Thumbtack, an online platform that connects customers through in-store displays with professional services providers such as plumbers and electricians. It's also been adding Home by H-E-B departments, which include throw pillows, rugs, vases, chairs and table linens; H-E-B-themed brand shops with T-shirts, socks and baby clothes; True Texas BBQ restaurants; bars serving beer, wine and cocktails; and health clinics with primary care and nutrition services.
