San Antonio chef competes on next episode of Food Network's 'Supermarket Stakeout'

SAN ANTONIO — With July Fourth just around the corner, Texas families will want to check their fridges for a product being recalled by H-E-B.

The popular grocery chain said a voluntary recall issued by Reser's Fine Foods affects Hill Country Fare mustard potato salad products with a use-by date of July 26, 2024, according to an H-E-B release. The 48-ounce items, sold at H-E-B and Joe V's Smart Shop locations in Texas, could contain"pieces of hard plastic foreign material in the package." No injuries have been reported due to the issue, and anyone who finds they bought the potato salad can return it for a full refund; otherwise, they're urged to throw it away.
