Gypsy Rose Blanchard and her boyfriend will soon be the proud parents of a baby girl.
Blanchard announced the sex of her baby on Instagram Aug. 10, posting a short video that included a photo of the couple popping a balloon to reveal pink confetti. In the video shared on social media, Blanchard and her boyfriend Ken Urker also addressed their child in a short clip. “Hi sweetie, I’m your mom,” Blanchard said before Urker added, “I’m your dad.” Blanchard teed up the official announcement, saying “And you are” by herself before Urker joined her and announced in unison “a girl.
.com has reached out to Blanchard, Urker, and Anderson for comment but did not hear back at the time of publication. Blanchard initially announced she was pregnant in early July. The author and reality TV star, 32, who spent eight years in prison for her role in the 2015 murder of her allegedly abusive mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, announced July 9 in a YouTube video that she and Urker were expecting their first child.
.com earlier this year, Anderson said he felt “blindsided” by the breakup. “I’m just experiencing things as they come. I’m still in reflection and processing mode,” he says. “A lot has happened. It’s hard to wrap my head around a lot of things that have happened because I mean, when I say I’m blindsided, I really am blindsided about how fast things progressed.
