“I had to literally start over again,” the No Doubt singer said in a candid new interview, calling the 2016 breakup “a reset of [her] life.”
The exes split in 2015 amid cheating allegations.The “Sweet Escape” singer said she “didn’t see [Shelton] coming,” explaining, “This was just a big old ‘What?’ It was an amazing gift to experience love like that for the first time.
“When I [started dating] Blake, that’s when I felt home, like, ‘Oh, this is where I’m supposed to be, with this guy,'” she continued.
