A church service in a Pittsburgh suburb was interrupted Sunday when a man jumped in front of the pastor with a gun in an apparent attempt to shoot him.Viewer discretion advised: Watch the incident unfold in the video player above It happened at Jesus' Dwelling Place Church in North Braddock . The church live-streams its services and captured the moment a man pulled out a gun and aimed it directly at Pastor Glenn Germany, that gun jamming.
One man even jumped to tackle the gunman. Eventually, he was able to remove the gun from the man's hands.'He could have lost his life in that struggle,' Germany said of the man who jumped in. 'But he sacrificed himself for everyone, and he's the hero.'Court paperwork identified the suspect as Bernard Polite, 26, of Braddock.
