Netflix has finally dropped the official trailer for Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio, the upcoming stop-motion animated fantasy.

It will be available for streaming on December 9.trailer gives us a preview of the Oscar-winning director’s reimagined vision of the classic tale. It offers audiences a new look at the titular wooden boy while continuing to highlight the sentimental story of a father’s undying love.
“Set during the rise of Fascism in Mussolini’s Italy, the film is a story of love and disobedience as Pinocchio struggles to live up to his father’s expectations,” reads the logline.
