The the vote this morning came out for the Baseball Writers Association of America Lifetime Achievement Award. You were one of three finalists. The award went to Tom Boswell from the Washington Post. You were really close in second place. Only a few votes behind Boswell and Bruce Jenkins of the San Francisco Chronicle finished third in the voting. So you miss out on the award this year, but chances are pretty good you’ll be back on the ballot next year.
