This is Clase’s second monthly award this season and his sixth since 2022. He went 8 for 8 in save opportunities while allowing one earned runs and one extra base hit in 11 innings. That does not include his save in the All-Star Game for the AL on July 16. For the season Clase is 4-1 with a 0.70 ERA in 52 games. He leads the AL with 33 saves in 36 chances and has allowed just four earned runs in 51 1/3 innings. The opposition is hitting .153 against him.
