The Guardians won 7-5.CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Guardians All-Star utility man David Fry will be sidelined for at least six to eight months after undergoing surgery on his right elbow Wednesday. Dr. Keith Meister performed the surgery in Dallas after examing Fry on Tuesday.
Dr. Meister, in an operation to repair Fry’s damanged ulnar collateral ligament, used a reconstruction technique involving a hybrid/internal brace and tendon graft to repair the ligament.
