Grand Theft Auto 6 players have a refreshed outlook now that we've entered the new year, and are not only optimistic about the planned November 2026 release but also hopeful that we may start to see some new reveals in the coming months.

GTA 6 fans are hesitantly marking their calendars for Take-Two's next official earnings call on February 3 , an event that has historically left many feeling nervous. The previous Take-Two earnings call was prefaced by an extremely upsetting third delay announcement from Rockstar, though earnings calls in the past have also come with good news, such as the second trailer drop. GTA 6 Fans Are Looking To February 3 If you're new to the GTA 6 waiting game, it's tempting to get excited about a Take-Two earnings call given the possibility that Rockstar may reveal some new details about the game or even possibly drop a third trailer. But veterans who have been burned more than once will be reluctant to have any feelings one way or the other—especially after the last one, which saw Rockstar announce a third delay literally minutes before the Take-Two earnings call began. That said, the most likely scenario is that Rockstar does not announce anything major on or around February 3, but it does seem likely that Take-Two would mention GTA 6 in some capacity in the actual earnings report. This means players could very well receive a confirmation on the release date in November at a minimum, as this would be important information for shareholders. Fans speculate that we'll get more of the same from Take-Two, with players like Defiant-Conflict2556 saying that the earnings call is essentially a “Rockstar seem confident with their release date event," which is a relatively meaningless statement coming from Take-Two given Take-Two's history of saying they're confident and then Rockstar announcing delays. Keep Your Expectations In Check At this point, most players seem to have caught on to Take-Two's posturing during these calls, and no matter what the suits say, fans are starting to accept that there will be uncertainty around GTA 6's release date at least until this summer. Bright_Sir_8783 speculates that "The May conference is the most important because that's where we'll find out if it's delayed or not," arguing that the summer Take-Two call would be the more likely announcement time if a third delay is happening.
