Grand Theft Auto 6 is going to overhaul the video game industry in a way few gamers could've expected. According to a new leak targeting the game, Rockstar Games will push boundaries with the NPCs included in GTA 6.
The characters will allegedly come loaded with an"absurd amount" of dialogue, giving the upcoming game the most immersive experience possible. The leak hails from Reddit as a source broke down the details surrounding GTA 6 and its NPCs. The note says Rockstar Games put intense effort into diversifying its NPC pools with extensive dialogue choices. Rather than having one-off lines or repetitive anecdotes, the leak claims GTA 6 NPCs will have full conversations in the game's background, and dialogue choices for gamers will be varied in 1:1 discussion. GTA 6 NPCs Might Get An Upgrade "I don't think people understand how insane the NPC dialogue system is in this game. Everyone assumes it's like GTA V where you have a pool of lines, and they just shuffle," the leak posted to Reddit reads."It's not that anymore. It's structured, like... labeled and categorized at a level I've never seen." The post goes on to say the developer kit for GTA 6 takes NPC dialogue to a whole new level in size alone. There are"hundreds of thousands of recorded lines" for the characters. "Not story, not main characters. Just people walking around, reacting, talking, calling out. It's not just 'more lines,' it's conditional lines." If you are curious how all this dialogue will be parsed in game, the leak suggests GTA 6 will have a decay system for NPC dialogue. The system will pull deep-cut variants for gamers as they explore areas, allowing them to avoid any repeat lines. Of course, you can bet fans will put this decay system to the test. It won't take long for fans to document all the recorded lines. The question is how long it will take for GTA 6 to cycle through all its options. The Advancements From GTA 5 Are Massive Rockstar Games' enhanced NPC system is just one of many upgrades coming for the hit franchise. It has been more than a decade since GTA put forward a new mainline title, and it goes without saying technology has grown leaps since September 2013. When GTA 6 goes live, it will come with enhanced fidelity for graphics as well as upgraded vehicle physics. From a sprawling open-world environment to its reactive police presence, GTA 6 promises to take the best of its predecessors and make them even better for fans. Of course, the biggest upgrades in GTA 6 will come from its new engine and AI logic. Complete with ray-tracing and dynamic visuals, the Rage 9 engine promises to make GTA 6 the most graphically impressive game in the franchise. This aesthetic will pair with the game's upgraded AI. This technology will better inform play as everything from NPCs to car chases and missions will be tailored to players. So if you think the game's leaked NPC upgrades are impressive, you haven't seen anything yet.
