The five expected to be dropped from the current State Cabinet line-up are Datuk Yakub Khan and Datuk Jafry Arifin. Yakub is also the Sabah Umno Deputy Chief and Jafry the Karambunai and Sukau assemblymen.
There are also expectations that Bung may be spared since he is the Sabah Umno head, after reconciling with CM Hajiji in the presence of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar. The five expected to be dropped from the current State Cabinet line-up are State Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Yakub Khan and State Tourism, Arts and Environment Minister Datuk Jafry Arifin. Yakub is also the Sabah Umno Deputy Chief and Jafry the Karambunai and Sukau assemblymen.
They are State Community Development and People’s Wellbeing Minister Datuk Ir Shahelmey Yahya; Assistant State Finance Minister Datuk Jasnih Daya and Assistant State Agriculture and Fisheries Minister Datuk James Ratib.It is also understood that a number of the seven Pakatan Harapan State assemblymen are expected to be offered a position in the State Cabinet.
