Work has officially started on Uvalde CISD's new elementary school.
The building's designs began shortly after a gunman opened fire aton May 24, 2022, killing 21 people, 19 of those being children. There have been several delays in starting construction for a number of reasons.
Miller, along with Lalo Diaz, have worked tirelessly on this project within the foundation. He said Saturday is the first step in making renderings a reality.
