A coffee brand sold in at least 15 states has recalled a portion of its ground coffee for a mislabeling error on the packaging, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration reports. Massimo Zanetti Beverage USA voluntarily issued a recall earlier this month for 692 cases of Our Family Traverse Ground Coffee 12-ounce bags that were mislabeled as decaffeinated.

The FDA classified the recall March 25 as Class II, which are considered “a situation in which use of or exposure to a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.” The 12-ounce ground coffee bags sold have a best buy date of Aug. 3, 2025. Though decaffeinated coffee has less caffeine than their regular coffee, the FDA warns it “still contains some caffeine.
