FX has unveiled the Grotesquerie teaser trailer for the upcoming horror thriller, starring Niecy Nash-Betts.
. The series is scheduled to make its debut on Wednesday, September 25 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX, and will be streaming the next day on
“In Grotesquerie, a series of heinous crimes have unsettled a small community. Detective Lois Tryon feels these crimes are eerily personal, as if someone – or something – is taunting her. At home, Lois grapples with a strained relationship with her daughter, a husband in long-term hospital care and her own inner demons,” reads the official logline. “With no leads and unsure of where to turn, she accepts the help of Sister Megan, a nun and journalist with the Catholic Guardian.
Grotesquerie is written and created by Murphy, Jon Robin Baitz, and Joe Baken, with the Glee creator also directing alongside Max Winkler, Alexis Martin Woodall, and Elegance Bratton. It is executive produced by Nash-Betts, Vance, Winkler, Woodall, Baitz, Peter Liguori, Nissa Diederich, Eric Kovtun, and Scott Robertson.
