A limited-time experience at Tokyo Disneyland reimagines the classic 'It's a Small World' boat ride with the addition of Groot and other miniature Marvel superheroes.
The finishing touches are being made to a Groot audio-animatronic character destined for the It's a Small World with Groot attraction at Tokyo Disneyland. Groot will embark on a whimsical journey, riding a gondola in Italy, scaling a pyramid in Egypt, and driving a double-decker bus in the United Kingdom.
This reimagined classic It's a Small World boat ride will feature Groot and other Marvel characters in a limited-time experience at Tokyo Disneyland, running from Wednesday, January 15, through June 30. This unique overlay will see the extraterrestrial tree-like character from the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise joined by other miniature Marvel superheroes. As they take a vacation to explore Earth, they will visit various destinations around the globe. Riders can expect to encounter several versions of Groot alongside doll-sized renditions of Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon, Mantis, Gamora, Thor, Ant-Man, and the Wasp. The Marvel-themed transformation will see the superheroes popping up in scenes throughout the dark ride, including Doctor Strange in India, Hulk in Greece, Captain Marvel in Mexico, Ms. Marvel in Egypt, Black Panther in Africa, and Captain America in Antarctica.The integration of Marvel characters into It's a Small World at Tokyo Disneyland has sparked excitement among Disney fans.
