Based on a series of tweets dating back to mid-August, Grimes appeared to be at least somewhat seriously considering getting the surgery. The operation involves surgically sculpting the cartilage of a patient’s ears into the pointy-topped shape widely associated with elfin creatures across the fantasy genre.
