Pop star Grimes has publicly addressed the ongoing issue of leaked demos circulating online, expressing her frustration and requesting fans to respect her creative process. Grimes emphasized that many of her unreleased songs never see the light of day and that leaks disrupt her artistic vision. She vowed to find those responsible for the latest leak, which included five songs released on the same day. This isn't the first time Grimes has dealt with unauthorized releases, as her second album was leaked prematurely in 2022.

Max added that she had found five different songs leaked just that day and vowed to “find out who did this … like I usually do.” “It hurts because you put so much work towards the body of work and then it’s out there,” she added. “And I know not everyone heard it and it’s hard to find, but a lot of people did. It’s definitely hurtful, for sure.”
