An emotional vigil was held at St Martin's Church in Hull, East Yorkshire, directly opposite the boarded up Anlaby Road branch of Legacy Family Funerals.

Candles were lit and prayers were said this afternoon for the families of 35 people whose bodies have been recovered from a scandal-hit funeral parlour.

It is understood some of the devastated mourners have already been told by Humberside Police that the relatives they believed were cremated have already been identified among the corpses.
