Families of those who died in the fire at Grenfell Tower hope the 'landmark report' prompts widescale change
Emma Dent Coad, who had just been elected as the Labour MP for Kensington when the Grenfell fire occurred, has said that 'there are 600,000 people' living in homes with unsafe cladding around the country 'who can't sleep at night'. She told Sky News that 'they contact me from all around the country, all the time.
'Personally, I want it gone, but I don't think it should be me who decides. It should be the people who are survivors and the people who live right next to it and see it every day, and they hear the shroud flapping and they hear weird noises and it's very alarming. 'Some of them think they've been affected by toxicity still, and they're not being reassured about that. They haven't had proper tests done.
