Labor has slammed a Greens MP for appearing at a protest with offensive signs depicting Prime Minister Anthony Albanese as Hitler.
The Greens have defended one of their MPs speaking at a Construction, Forestry and Maritime Employees Union rally surrounded by anti-Anthony Albanese signs and images. On Tuesday, Greens housing spokesman Max Chandler-Mather joined over 60,000 workers who downed tools in capital cities to protest the forced administration of the construction arm of their union.
"I think it’s also very, very disturbing that we saw a Greens MP Max Chandler-Mather decide to share a stage with the construction union yesterday in Brisbane despite those placards invoking Nazi references, despite the coffins with the Prime Minister’s face," Watt told ABC’s Radio National on Wednesday.
