The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is warning consumers about green onions that may be contaminated
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is warning consumers to throw away green onions from Church Brothers that were also sold at Trader Joe's due to the presence of Salmonella.There are 1,271 cases of onions subject to the recall, which were distributed to retailers and other food service providers in Canada and the U.S.The recalled green onions have a “pack date” of Sept. 25, that is listed on the packaging.
The contaminated vegetables are included in a larger recall of green onions from Church Brothers with a lot code of CB272378 and Imperial Fresh with a lot code of CB272378.
