David McCarthy takes your calls and there's a rare show of Hotline unity after Celtic brought the hammer down on the Green Brigade.
It's not often the jurors in the court of public opinion that is the Hotline deliver a unanimous verdict. But they did today as every call on Celtic’s decision to ban the Green Brigade was met with approval.
R Campbell added: "Better late than never for Celtic to suspend their season tickets. I fully advocate the need for free speech as we live in a democratic society but the Green Brigade seem to think they are above the law and are untouchable. George Fairgrieve emailed with a simple message: "Well done Celtic, no one is bigger than the club.” William Hutchison, Aberdeen, said: “Thank you Celtic for banning the Green Brigade. It’s about time as they’ve been costing us thousands of pounds in fines. They say they have a right to voice opinions - true, but do it in your own home and leave politics at home. If you want back, come and support the team then leave all political things, flares, pyrotechnics at home ...
"Hopefully both sides can sit down and come to a solution that will end the dispute and bring harmony back and everyone can enjoy the football and not the distraction off the park."
