A mix of sunny spells and rain showers are forecast for this weekend in Greater Manchester as temperatures continue to feel cool for this time of year.
Saturday is expected to be largely dry again, with sunny intervals forecast in the morning. Cloudier weather will then set in before some light showers are forecast in our region during the afternoon. The mercury will reach a high of around 10C. According to forecasters, heavy rain showers are forecast for Greater Manchester on Sunday morning.
Towards the second half of next, forecasters predict that temperatures will 'return closer to average'. On the general forecast for the North West today, Met Office forecasters said: "A chilly but largely dry start.
